Method

  1. Begin by heating a large sauté pan over medium heat and add your ground beef. Cook until browned, stirring occasionally to break it apart, then drain off any excess grease.
  2. To the same pan, drizzle in olive oil and toss in chopped onions and minced garlic along with onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper. Sauté these ingredients for about 3-5 minutes until they become fragrant and tender.
  3. Next, stir in the marinara sauce along with chicken broth to create a rich base for your lasagna. Allow this mixture to come together as you reduce the heat to low.
  4. Cover your pan with a lid and let it simmer gently for about 20 minutes so all those flavors meld beautifully together.
  5. After simmering, gently stir in the potato gnocchi ensuring it gets well-coated with the sauce mixture. Cover again and let it simmer for an additional 10 minutes allowing the gnocchi to cook through.
  6. Finally, sprinkle in your shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the gnocchi mixture followed by freshly grated Parmigiano reggiano before serving hot straight from the stove!
